1975年に登場したV8エンジンを搭載した
308GTB,GTS と呼ばれる「スモールフェラーリ」というモデルがあります。
これは、2926ccで 255PS を出力していました。
従来のモデルより安価に楽しめるスポーツカーとして
308 シリーズは非常に売れたそうです。
1982年にはエンジンを 4 バルブ化したクワトロバルボーレが追加され、
1985年には後継として328GTB/GTSが造られました。
エンジンは排気量が増えて3185ccで270PSを叩き出していました。
